Aisha Sekhmet -White Man’s Bitch
All I can say is “Oh My God.” I checked out this video thinking it was a basic response to Yo Gotti’s “5 Star Chick.” Boy was I wrong. It turns out to be a nationalist/feminist commentary on not only hip hop, but Christianity, racial politics, and more. Rappers, Christians, Black men and Black Greeks are the key targets of her scathing attack. The artist is name Aisha Sekhmet. Here is her Myspace page. Check the video out and tell me what you think!

Wow. Yesterday I watched an HBO Documentary about a high school in the Charleston, MI where Morgan Freeman is from. It was 2008 and they were having their first interracial prom and I thought that was pretty crazy that it took until 2008 for it to happen.
To me it’s interesting that she uses the “N” word so frequently when it was the ‘white mans word’. Not to mention it appears she has her hair “permed”. I can’t take her seriously with such contradictions.

The way one attempts to style their hair reflects nothing upon their sense of cultural/human pride. Hairstyles are hairstyles. She’s keeping it real. And regarding Tracie’s inability to “take her seriously”, we are all humans, that’s the beauty of it! I think she uses the “N” word to support her statements.
The truth is….the circles continues…

The lyrics are solid, conscious and for that I applaud her. We do need to hear that type of message more often. I struggle with the ubiquitous use of the words nigga and bitch. I get the utility but I don’t know that I need to hear them used so gratuitously even if the message is a good one.

CONSIOUS RAP TO MAKE US THINK ABOUT WHO AND WHAT WE ARE WORSHIPPING. MOST OF THESE RAPPERS ARE IN THE BUSINESS TO JUST MAKE MONEY AND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE THEY SEND OUR KIDS. AISHA SEKMET BROUGHT IT “REAL” HOPEFULLY PPL WILL LISTEN AND TRULY UNDERSTAND THE LYRICAL CONTENT OF THE MESSAGE BEFORE THEY MIS-JUDGE THE ARTIST,PARENTS NEED TO TEACH THEIR KIDS THAT EDUCATING THEMSELVES IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN A PAIR A SNEAKERS, JEANS AND THAT YOUTH IS TEMPORARY. WHAT YOU DO TODAY WILL NEGATIVELY OR POSITIVELY AFFECT YOU WHEN YOUR YOUTH IS ALL GONE. NOT TO KNOW IS BAD; NOT TO WISH TO KNOW IS WORSE. KNOWLEGDE IS LIKE A GARDEN; IF IT IS NOT CULTIVATED, IT CANNOT BE HARVESTED.

This sister hits the nail on the head. Wake up black men. Stop being the bitch that she describes and become a strong man for your family as well as your community. We have been brain washed for so long as a people that when one comes along with truth we dispute it.
