At a time when gangsta rap was being attacked from many angles, ‘Face and Cube fire back on those attempting to silence their voices.

By the way, Ice Cube was unstoppable when he had the ‘fro and the beard. Angry Black Man to the fullest!

Since “Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It” and the remix were too gangsta (good) for radio/tv, I guess Cube decided to take a more friendly route with his next video “Do Ya Thang.” Its a serviceable radio song, but Cube struggles when trying to floss on record (see his output from 1998 – 2005). His upcoming album Raw Footage should be a banger. More angry Ice Cube political music is always welcomed. Ice Cube Raw Footage coming August 19, 2008.
