Spice 1 “Trigga Gots No Heart” from 187 He Wrote (1993)/Menace II Society OST (1993)

Spice 1 is one of my favorite artists and this, in my opinion, is arguably his best song. He’s really stripped down on the track, eschewing much of the extremism that he’s known for. While Spice rips the track, the beat is a masterpiece. The interplay of the drums, keys, and syths offers just as much meaning as Spice’s words. The song was featured on the Menace II Society soundtrack and clips from the film and spread throughout the vide.

I’ll be back this weekend with something thats been on my mind for a while.
