The Real Untouchable’s “I’m Bout It” video is, in my humble opinion, one of the hardest music videos ever made. Master P filmed this one right in his own hood. The beat is crippling. It will cripple you. And Mia X absolutely murdered it! This song and video is a good representative of the grittiness that defined the mid-90s era of hip hop.

Old School Joint of the Week: Eazy-E “Real Compton City G’s”

Mayne. Eazy-E’s “Real Compton City G’s” is one of the hardest hip hop beats ever. The way the syth plays off the bass makes me wanna run up on anyone. Props to producer Rhythum D. The vocals by Eazy-E, B.G. Knockout, and Dresta fit the beat perfectly. In terms of a diss, I feel this song was more effective than Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s “Dre Day.” Here’s the vid:
